Martin's Super Markets shooting victims have memorial funds established

ELKHART — Two memorial funds have been set up at Michiana banks in honor of the two victims of the Martin’s Super Market shooting.

The United Way of Elkhart County has set up a fund in memory of Rachelle Godfread at Old National Bank, according to a news release.

The bank has already made a “generous donation” to the account and community members are encouraged to donate at any Michiana Old National branch.

Donations can also be sent to the United Way of Elkhart County, 601 C.R. 17, with a memo designating the money for the Godfread Fund.

An account in memory of Krystle Dikes has been set up at Horizon Bank to help her family cover the costs of her funeral.

Donations can be made at any Horizon Bank branch.

Dikes’ funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 at First Baptist Church, 53953 C.R. 17, Bristol.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the church.

Dikes’ family has also arranged a press conference for Saturday, Jan. 18, morning at the church.
