A man injured in a snowmobile accident was listed in stable condition Saturday, Jan. 4, two days after the incident.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources said in a statement Saturday that Keith Hochstetler, 31, of Milford sustained serious internal injuries in an accident at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The accident occurred on private property in Kosciusko County when Hochstetler struck a snowbank while going around 50 mph and was ejected from the snowmobile.

Hochstetler was subsequently airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment, where he remained as of Saturday.
