GOSHEN — Normal trash pickup in Goshen for Monday, Jan. 6, will be delayed until Tuesday.

That will give city snow-removal crews additional time to clear roadways of snow before trash trucks start making their rounds. It will also help fend off the possibility of cold-related hydraulic problems with trash trucks, Mayor Allan Kauffman said in a statement.

Tuesday’s planned pickup schedule remains the same.

Allied Waste is the contracted trash pickup company in Goshen.
