Several local residents recently completed the first phase of the Elkhart County Master Gardener program through the Purdue Extension Service.

The 2013 Master Class includes Kay Bontrager-Singer, Dan Carlson, Sandra Copley, Dean Preheim-Bartel, Gwen Preheim-Bartel and John Sizemore, all of Goshen; Brian Christner of Wolcottville; Teresa Klein of Milford; Samantha Pound of South Bend; Bill Roberts of Elkhart; Heather Telschow of Wakarusa; Diana Thornton of Bremen; and Georgia Wier of Middlebury.

Those who wish to be placed on a mailing list for the upcoming classes may call the extension office in Goshen at 533-0554.
