GOSHEN — Members of the Elkhart County 4-H Livestock Judging Team are packing their bags and heading to Great Britain this spring to participate in an international competition.

The trip marks the second time in two years that a group from Elkhart County will compete in the International Livestock Judging competition.

The group — Marissa Lorenz, Sarah Kezar, Alex Miller and Ryan Kelly — competed in several judging contests to qualify for the competition in Europe, most recently in Louisville, Ky.

The Elkhart County Farm Bureau gave the team a $1,000 boost, but the four students need roughly $25,000 for the trip. To donate to the group, call agriculture teacher and team coach Kraig Bowers at Fairfield High School at 831-2184.
