Light snowfall, rain included in Elkhart County's forecast this week

More snowfall is expected Monday night and much of Tuesday for Elkhart County.

ELKHART — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana is predicting more snowfall for parts of northern Indiana throughout the week, including Elkhart County.

Light snowfall is likely throughout the day Monday, and snow accumulations throughout the night are expected to reach a total of one to three inches. There is a 60 percent chance of snow on Tuesday, with one to two inches of accumulation expected.

Wednesday is expected to be cold and dry. There is a 30 percent chance of rain on Thursday, the weather service said.
