Elkhart County history on display at Gathering at Five Medals

About 100 historical interpreters featured their collective historical knowledge during the fifth annual Gathering at Five Medals at River Preserve County Park in New Paris on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The event featured several artillery demonstrations and a chance to see French settlers, woodlands American Indians, traders and soldiers from the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. The span of history depicted runs from the 1660s to 1815.
