Ruthmere celebrated it’s 40th anniversary Sunday by holding a “Downtown Abbey”-style Summer Tea and Lawn Party from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Executive Director Bill Firstenberger said over 100 people participated in the event, dressing up in their summer whites and enjoying tea, cake and games such as croquet, hopscotch marbles and jacks.
