Kubacki serving on children’s commission
INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Rep. Rebecca Kubacki, R-Syracuse, is serving on an interim committee geared at helping children.
The group, the State Commission on Improving the Status of Children, first met Wednesday, Aug. 21, and Kubacki hopes it’ll be a means of expanding on steps already taken by the Indiana General Assembly.
“The commission aims to improve the status of children across Indiana by taking an in-depth look at issues concerning vulnerable youth,” said a press release from Kubacki’s office. The body will review and make recommendations on pending legislation, among other things.
Kubacki’s district includes parts of Elkhart and Kosciusko counties.
