Police are asking for help to solve the death of Darrell Taylor, an Elkhart man whose body was discovered in the St. Joseph River five years ago.

On July 31, 2008, the body of Taylor, 42, was discovered on the bank of the river at McNaughton Park. He had last been seen alive four days earlier.

During the investigation, police recovered a green 1996 Chevy Blazer near the McNaughton Park boat ramp they believe to be linked to Taylor’s case.

Crime Stoppers is asking for any information on the death of Taylor. Information that leads to an arrest could lead to a cash reward of up to $1,000.
