During the event, the Village Inn is serving a free chocolate sundae with the purchase of a meal or combo. Also during the evening, Middlebury Parks Department will hold a rain barrel auction. Bidders will have an opportunity to take home a rain barrel painted by students from Middlebury Community Schools.

Demonstrations on tying scarves will be all evening at The Cinnamon Stick. Tom Yoder will be on hand to sign his new book: “My Thoughts Exactly: The Dirt on Gardening.”

The musical group “Everyday People” will entertain beside Legacy Home Furniture.

The wall was washed over during Superstorm Sandy in October 2012, causing erosion and and taking down power lines. Or it can reject aid, retain its private beach and allow erosion and other issues to worsen. (AP Photo/Emily Dooley)
