Key action: Approved the first pay application for the wastewater treatment plant improvement project of $276,783 to Fetters Construction. The payment covers bonds and insurance and mobilizing equipment to begin work.

Other actions:

Ÿ Approved a sign variance for MDK Enterprises to have a 17-inch electronic message center on the bottom of its sign along U.S. 20.

Ÿ Approved use of Memorial Park and East Park and street closures for the Middlebury Fall Festival, Sept. 20-21.
