Indiana Toll Road places moratorium on construction for July 4 weekend

Exceptions will be made for emergency situations.

The Indiana Toll Road is removing lane restrictions and placing a moratorium on construction to help ease traffic during the July 4 holiday weekend.

Lane restrictions were removed Tuesday, July 2, according to a press release from Indiana Toll Road.

Emergency construction projects are excluded from the moratorium and work zone speed limits will apply in emergency construction zones.

All construction projects will resume early in the morning Monday, July 8.
