GOSHEN Hospital agrees to care for patients from juvenile detention center

IU Health Goshen Hospital has agreed to care for patients who come from the Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center.

GOSHEN — IU Health Goshen Hospital has renewed a contract to provide medical care for patients from the Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center.

The county commissioners approved the agreement Monday, May 6. The hospital will bill the legal guardians of patients from the detention center for medical treatment, according to the contract. The agreement will be effective for the next two years.
