Elkhart home catches fire Saturday night

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire on Saturday night at a home on Leslie Lane in Elkhart.

ELKHART — At least three fire departments responded to a fire call late Saturday night on Elkhart’s east side.

Concord, Jefferson and Harrison township fire departments were on the scene around 10:15 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 22000 block of Leslie Lane, in the Pinecrest Estates subdivision south of Toledo Road, near the U.S. 20 interchange.

Details such as the extent of the fire or whether anyone was endangered by it were not immediately known Saturday night. Keep an eye on eTruth.com for updates.
