WAKARUSA — Traffic along S.R. 19 will be routed on the north side of Wakarusa starting Monday to allow for construction of a crossing over a ditch.
The Township Ditch runaround is located just north of the stoplight at Waterford Street, across from the Utilimaster plants, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. The runaround will remain in place until the new crossing’s scheduled completion in early July.
A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect for the runaround.
Once the Township Ditch crossing is complete, a temporary runaround will be implemented around Nunemaker Ditch about three miles north of Wakarusa to allow construction of a new crossing there.
