Central, Concord, Goshen, Penn competing at state music finals Saturday

Several local music groups will compete at state contests this weekend.

Several local schools have music groups competing Saturday, May 4, at the Indiana State School Music Association state organization finals.

Penn, Concord and Elkhart Central high schools’ orchestras will compete Saturday in the state finals at Pike Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, according to ISSMA’s website.

Goshen High School will have a mixed concert choir competing in its state finals Saturday, also at Pike.

Goshen, Concord and Penn’s concert bands will compete in the state concert band finals Saturday afternoon at Schrott Center for Arts on Butler University’s campus in Indianapolis.
