One killed in Edwardsburg crash

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Edwardsburg.

EDWARDSBURG — One man was killed Wednesday afternoon, April 10, in a two-vehicle crash in Edwardsburg.

Officers from the Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department responded to the crash at the intersection of U.S. 12 and South Beach Drive at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

Harold Wise, 80, of Edwardsburg was killed when his car collided with an SUV driven by David Wilson, 73, of Edwardsburg.

Wise’s wife, Shirley Wise, was also in the car and Wilson was accompanied by an 8-year-old passenger whose name has not been released.

A news release from Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police did not specify what other injuries, if any, were suffered in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department was assisted at the scene by Michigan State Police, the Cass County Shefiff’s Department, Edwardsburg Ambulance, Edwardsburg Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance
