Coats, Walorski to address Elkhart County GOP event

The Elkhart County Central Committee will hold its annual Lincoln Day Celebration Friday, with U.S. Sen. Dan Coats and U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski the featured speakers.

ELKHART — U.S. Sen. Dan Coats and U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski are scheduled to be in Elkhart Friday March 22 for the Elkhart County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day Celebration.

The event is to start at 7 p.m. at the Matterhorn Restaurant, 2041 Cassopolis St., Elkhart. A private reception with Coats and Walorski, both Republicans, will be held before that, from 6 to 7 p.m., and they are also the featured speakers during the main program.

Individual tickets for the dinner are $50, with a cash bar. “Priority seating” at a table for eight with program recognition and complimentary wine is available for $500 per table. The entry fee for the private reception starting at 6 p.m. is $20 per person or $30 per couple.
