MISHAWAKA Penn’s Jazz a la Mode Friday

Penn's Jazz a la Mode concert, featuring Concord High School's band as well, is this Friday.

MISHAWAKA — Penn’s Jazz a la Mode concert will feature multiple Penn jazz groups, along with a few other bands.

The concert is at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Penn High School cafeteria. People should enter through door C or F.

The concert will include performances by Grissom and Discovery middle school jazz bands, Penn after-school jazz orchestra, Penn intermediate jazz ensemble, Penn advanced jazz ensemble and a guest performance by a Concord High School jazz band.

The night’s program will include musical selections from Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, The Beatles and George Gershwin, among others.

Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults, including an all-you-can-eat dessert bar. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance online at www.seatyourself.biz/penn.
