Sheriff’s Association offering scholarships for Indiana criminal justice studies students

There will be approximately 40 $500 scholarships awarded throughout Indiana.

The Indiana Sheriff’s Association is awarding 40 $500 scholarships to Indiana students majoring in criminal justice or similar law enforcement-related fields. To qualify, applicants must be an Indiana resident, be a member of the association or be the child or grandchild of an association member, attend a college in Indiana full-time and be enrolled in a law-enforcement related major. Applications are available online, from high school counselors and at the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department’s Law Enforcement Center, 26861 C.R. 26, Elkhart. The Indiana Sheriff’s Association must receive completed applications or or before April 1, 2013.
