ELKHART — Elkhart police are searching for two men in connection with a robbery Wednesday morning at Chiphone Credit Union, 1655 W. Beardsley Ave.

The two men are suspected of robbing the credit union shortly before 10 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Laura Koch. They displayed a handgun and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Koch said. No injuries were reported.

Officers searched around the area using K-9 units, said Koch.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects, Koch said.
