Elkhart Central, Memorial class of 1974 planning 40th reunion for 2014

The Elkhart High School class of 1974 is looking for classmates for their reunion, slated for August 2014.

ELKHART — The class of 1974 of Elkhart Central and Memorial high schools are planning a united class of 1974 reunion for Aug. 1 and 2, 2014.

The class of 1974 was the last class to attend the Elkhart High School. After the school on High Street closed in 1972, students were split up into the Central Blazers and Memorial Chargers.

The reunion committee is looking for updated contact information for classmates, volunteers and donations.

Information about the group is available at www.ehs1974.com and in their Facebook group, which can be found by searching “Class of ’74-ECHS/EMHS.”
