NAPPANEE — Registration is winding down for the Family Christian Development Center’s Christmas Jubilee 2012.

For the last 17 years, the FCDC has partnered with Toys-for-Tots to provide gifts to children in need in the Wa-Nee Community Schools who might not receive Christmas gifts otherwise.

“It’s part of passing on the Christmas spirit to families that are struggling,” said Karen Stoltzfus, director of FCDC. “It’s sharing the blessings of our community with our neighbors who have needs.”

Stoltzfus said the event also gives families a chance to interact around the holiday season, while providing gifts for their kids and necessities, such as clothing and blankets.

This year’s Jubilee will be held between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday at the Nappanee Boys and Girls Club, 107 East Marion St.

Eligible parents who would like to participate may pick up a registration form either at their child’s school or at the FCDC, 151 South Locke St. To register, parents will need to show a photo identification and present a birth certificate for each child participating. Children from birth to high school senior are eligible.

Registration must be returned to the FCDC by Monday, Dec. 3.
