Two injured in crash at C.R. 6 and C.R. 17

At least two injured in crash at intersection of C.R. 6 and C.R. 17.

At least two people were injured at an accident at the intersection of C.R. 6 and C.R. 17 Thursday afternoon.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, one car was heading north on C.R. 17 and turning left onto C.R. 6.

A second car, heading south on C.R. 17, ran a red light and hit the other car head-on.

The Sheriff’s Department said at least two people were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for their injuries. They could not comment on the extent of the injuries at that time.
