CASS COUNTY Here’s how Cass County voted on Tuesday

Here are the results for Cass County's elections.

The race for the 6th District representative for the U.S. House was won by Republican Fred Upton with 13,390 total votes. Democrat Mike O’Brien had 8,240 votes, followed by Libertarian Christie Gelineau with 384 votes and U.S. Taxpayers candidate Jason Gatties with 193 votes.

In the U.S. Senate race, Republican Pete Hoekstra had 11,674 votes, followed by Democrat Debbie Stabenow with 9,422 votes, Libertarian Scotty Boman with 390 votes, U.S. Taxpayers candidate Richard A. Matkin with 198 votes, Green Party candidate Harley Mikkelson with 154 votes and Natural Law candidate John D.

Litle with 102 votes.

In the presidential race, Republican Mitt Romney won with 12,660 votes, president Barack Obama had 9,587 votes, U.S. Taxpayers candidate Virgil H.

Goode, Jr. with 96 votes, Green Party candidate Jill Stein with 93 votes, and Natural Law candidate Ross C. Anderson with 25 votes.
