14th annual Service Day at Goshen College puts freshmen students to work.

Goshen College freshmen work at various sites around Elkhart County to offer assistance on Service Day.

GOSHEN — Goshen College students and faculty skipped class Wednesday and fanned out through Elkhart County to volunteer as part of the school’s 14th annual Service Day. Eight groups of first-year students and faculty visited sites to help pack food at Feed the Children in Elkhart and work on homes for LaCasa in Goshen. The teams also worked at Soup of Success in Elkhart and the Boys & Girls Club in Goshen.
