ELKHART Transit of Venus event is Tuesday

People are welcome to see the transit of Venus at ETHOS.

ELKHART — Encouraging Technology & Hands on Science is hosting an event to see the transit of Venus on Tuesday.

According to information from ETHOS, the transit of Venus is when the disk of the planet Venus passes across the face of the sun. It won’t happen again until 2117, according to ETHOS.

ETHOS will provide telescopes, solar glasses and activities for the event.

The event will be at the ETHOS building, 2521 Industrial Parkway, Elkhart, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
