ELKHART -- Four people were arrested when police discovered meth and items commonly used to make meth in a motel room Wednesday morning.
The names of the four people arrested, according to a press release from the Elkhart Police Department, are:
* Douglas Arthur Flick, 36, of Elkhart, preliminary charges of manufacturing meth and false informing;
* Wilma Marie Willis, 24, of South Bend, preliminary charges of manufacturing meth and possession of a schedule III controlled substance;
* William Kent James Wallace, 25, of Elkhart, preliminary charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth and possession of meth precursors; and

Officers saw a vehicle in the Knight's Inn parking lot, 3252 Cassopolis St., belonging to a person that had purchased a large amount of pseudoephedrine from a local pharmacy, according to police.
Investigators went to room 408, police said, and the occupants allowed officers to search.
The patrol officers found meth and precursors for manufacturing meth and called the department's street crime unit to continue the investigation.
Police have submitted the case to the Elkhart County prosecutor's office requesting formal charges. Probable cause hearings will be held today.
