ELKHART — Kristina Miracle and Cody Vance were married Aug. 18, 2012, at Creekside Church of the Brethren by pastor Rosanna McFadden.

The bride’s parents are William and Rhonda Severeid of Elkhart and Scott and Connie Miracle of Vicksburg, Mich. The groom’s parents are Jim and Kristen Vance of Elkhart.

Ashley Grant, sister of the bride of Osceola, was maid of honor. Jennifer Lochotzki, sister of the bride of Elkhart, was matron of honor.

Morgan Severeid, sister of the bride of Elkhart, Taryn Gordon of Indianapolis, Jasmine Grove of Vine Grove, Ky., and Danielle Hobbs of Bloomington were bridesmaids. Bailey Miracle, sister of the bride of Vicksburg, Mich., was junior bridesmaid. Alex Vance, cousin of the groom of Goshen, was flower girl.

Nicholas Shaffer was best man. Aerrick Wimsatt of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Kyle Dite of Fort Benning, Ga., Robert FitzSimmons of Elkhart and Darren Vance, brother of the groom of Elkhart, were groomsmen. Payton Lochotzki and Trystan Grant, nephews of the bride of Elkhart, were ring bearers.

Jim Vance, father of the groom of Elkhart, Scott Miracle, father of the bride of Vicksburg, Mich., and William Severeid, father of the bride of Elkhart, were ushers.

The groom and groomsmen wore their respective military uniforms. The bride’s something borrowed was her sister Jennifer’s veil and sister Ashley’s bridal jewelry. Something blue was her grandmother’s wedding handkerchief and something old was a gold and pearl brooch from her late grandmother in her brooch bouquet.

The reception was at Maplecrest Country Club in Goshen. The couple are honeymooning in Las Vegas over the New Year.

The bride and groom went to Elkhart Memorial High School together. They reconnected in June 2010 while the groom was deployed in Iraq and began dating in April 2011. The groom proposed while home on Christmas leave.
