ELKHART — Lydia Miller and Shon Jones were married Sept. 8, 2012, at Winding Waters Brethren Church by Pastor Josh Ercoli.
The bride’s parents are Laramie Niccum of Middlebury, Wayne Niccum and the late David Miller. The groom’s parents are Elenor and James Pierce of Florida, the late Preston and Nancy Jones and the late Roy Tittle of Elkhart.
Melissa Tilley of Elkhart was maid of honor. Susan Null, the bride’s sister of Middlebury, was matron of honor. Danielle Girten, the groom’s sister of Elkhart, Cheyenne Null, the bride’s niece of Middlebury, Britainie Jones, the groom’s niece of Middlebury and Tori Braddock, the groom’s niece of Elkhart, were bridesmaids. McKenna Jones, the bride and groom’s daughter, was the flower girl.
Duane Viers of Elkhart was the best man. Stefan Weaver, the groom’s cousin of LaGrange, Jason Girten, the groom’s brother-in-law of Elkhart, Doug Jones, the groom’s brother of Elkhart, Isaiah Grathen, the bride’s son of Middlebury and Christopher Jones, the groom’s son of Edwardsburg, Mich., were groomsmen. Aiden McFall, the bride’s nephew of Elkhart, was ring bearer. Louie Null, the bride’s brother-in-law of Middlebury, and Blake Jones, the groom’s nephew of Elkhart, were the ushers.
The reception was held at the DAV chapter 19 in Elkhart.
The bride and groom met through mutual friends. The groom took the bride to dinner, where she was surprised by family attending and the proposal was made.
