Presenters to speak at Michiana Anabaptist Historians meeting

SHIPSHEWANA – Two speakers will give presentations on Amish and Mennonite topics on Saturday, March 22.

The Michiana Anabaptist Historians will meet at Shore Mennonite Church, 7235 100 N., and the event is free and open to the public.

Steven Nolt, professor at Goshen College and author, will present “The Amish Fifty Years Later,” based on his new book.

Rebecca Haarer, co-manager of Haarer’s Antiques Shop in Shipshewana, will present “The History of Amish and Mennonite Quilt Making in Northern Indiana.”

Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Coffee and snacks will be served.
