Goddess sculpture exhibit debuts this weekend at Elkhart church

The collection is a combination of replicas and original work by local artist Cameo Victor.

ELKHART — An exhibit opening this weekend at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart will feature a goddess sculpture collection by local artist Cameo Victor.

She’ll present a program titled “When God Was a Woman” at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday, March 9, service, followed by a public reception and the opening of the exhibit featuring goddess sculpture replicas and Victor's own work.

Victor is the owner and designer of the Guild of Hands shop in downtown Elkhart and a self-employed portrait artist.

The Unitarian church gallery will be open by appointment for the rest of the Sundays in March.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is at 1732 Garden St., Elkhart.
