Remembering St. Francis, known as the patron saint of animals and the environment, St. John of the Cross Episcopal Church in Bristol will hold its annual animal blessing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the riding campus of LoveWay Inc. on C.R. 33 in Middlebury. All animals (dog, cats, birds, etc.) of St. John’s parishioners will be blessed, along with many of LoveWay’s horses.
