PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. — Stanley and Marlene (Nice) Kropf celebrated their 50th anniversary last month.
They were married June 14, 1964, at Sheridan Mennonite Church in Sheridan, Ore.
Former residents of Elkhart, Ind., they recently retired to Port Townsend. Mr. Kropf worked as a churchwide finance director of the Mennonite Church General Board in Elkhart and was the executive director of the Great Lakes Mennonite Central Committee in Goshen, Ind.
Mrs. Kropf was a professor at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart and a minister of worship at Mennonite Church USA in Elkhart.
Their children are Jeremy (Valerie) Kropf of Westmont, Ill., and Heather Kropf of Pittsburgh.
