Donald and Melodye Zehrung celebrate wedding anniversary
ELKHART — Donald and Melodye (Powell) Zehrung are celebrating their 35th anniversary this month.
Don and Melodye married on May 19, 1979. They both attended and graduated from Penn High School, but they met at St. Mark Missionary Church, where they were married and still attend today.
Don enjoys working on cars, fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles, deer hunting and snowmobiling. Melodye enjoys baking, preparing meals for others, crocheting, walking, reading and attending musicals. They both love spending time with their family, attending church and being of service to others.
Donald worked as a body man at Gates Chevy World in South Bend.
Melodye worked as a librarian at Cleveland Elementary School in Elkhart.
Their children are Leah Zehrung of Elkhart, Laura (Tony) Harman of Osceola and Lisa Zehrung of Elkhart.
Their grandchild is Melodi Harman of Osceola.
