DANDRIDGE, Tenn. — Chuck and Karen (Hanson) Youngman are celebrating their 50th anniversary this month.
They were married Jan. 16, 1964, at Church of the Brethren in Elkhart, Ind.
A celebration will be Jan. 18, 2014, at Hampton Inn & Suites in Kodak, hosted by their children Christine, Corinne and Charlene.
Mr. Youngman owned Continental Express in Elkhart. Mrs. Youngman is a tax preparer for H&R Block and Liberty Tax.
Their children are Christine (David) Drew of Dandridge, Corinne Virrill of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Charlene Haitsma of Elkhart.
They have six grandchildren, Brad (Lydia) Drew of Knoxville, Katie (James) Lowery and Cassidy Drew, both of Dandridge, Liam Patrick Virrill of Ponte Vedra, Katrina (Landon) Conrad of Indianapolis and Jordon Haitsma of Elkhart; and two great-grandchildren, Paige Lowery of Dandridge and Isaac Drew of Knoxville.
After retirement in 2010, Chuck and Karen moved to Dandridge.
