Goshen City Council revives conversation about urban chickens: Well, that didn’t take long. The city council voted in March to turn down an ordinance that would have allowed residents to own chickens. Two weeks later, councilman Jeremy Stutsman brought the conversation back to the table but with a few changes.
LaCasa, DJ Construction breaking ground on Hawks building this month: The former Hawks Furniture building is slowly but surely transforming into a 35-apartment space for artists to live and work. LaCasa Inc. and DJ Construction will begin construction this month, but before new tenants can move in, new windows need to be installed, brick walls need to be repaired, plumbing needs to be upgraded...and the list goes on.
