Documentary about Indiana basketball team being shown at Art House

Art House in downtown Goshen will have four more screenings of "Medora."

Posted on Feb. 1, 2014 at 10:19 a.m.

Everyone loves a good underdog story. Maybe that’s why Art House’s special screening of “Medora” on Saturday evening, Feb. 1, is sold out. The documentary follows a hapless high school basketball team in southern Indiana and the group’s struggles on and off the court.

A special event Saturday will feature the film with a question and answer session with some of the film’s subjects plus Ellyn Church, the film’s associate producer. Church, an Elkhart native, doubles as the venue manager and cinema director at Art House.

If you don’t have tickets for Saturday evening’s screening of “Medora,” here is a list of additional showtimes (though you may want to grab tickets soon because these screenings may sell out once word spreads about the film).

  • Sunday, Feb. 2: 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 7: 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: Feb. 8: 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
