Cass County Council on Aging announces July activities

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — Cass County Council On Aging’s activities in July will include the following.

  • Parkinson’s support group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. July 8 at the Lowe Center, 60525 Decatur Road. Instructor Glenda Gibson will discuss how Tai Chi can benefit those dealing with Parkinson’s.
  • Grief support group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon July 10 at the Lowe Center. The group is for anyone dealing with grief or loss. Monthly themes will be “forgiving yourself” and “feelings of the heart.”
  • Multiple sclerosis support group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. July 15 at the Lowe Center. Participants will learn about a wide variety of MS medications.
  • Diabetes support will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. July 11 at Front Street Crossing, 227 S. Front St., Dowagiac. The monthly presentation will be “Foot Care and Your Diabetes.”
