Community screening day at IU Health Goshen set for Wednesday
GOSHEN — IU Health Goshen Hospital will host a community screening day from 6:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, 200 High Park Ave. Most screenings are free of charge; some require a nominal fee.
Free services provided by clinical professionals will include fitness assessment, body composition assessment, blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation levels, cardiovascular risk self assessment, diabetic foot screening, diabetes risk assessment, balance and joint screening, memory screening, sleep disorders risk assessment, breast cancer risk assessment and colon health risk appraisal.
Screenings with a nominal fee include bone density heel scans, cholesterol screening (fasting), vascular screenings (pre-payment required), lower-extremity pulses screening and A1C glucose measurement.
Discounts are available for some screenings for those who register and pay in advance. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register call 877-566-4660.
