The Bacon Strip in Elkhart is holding a recipe contest

Submit your best bacon recipe in The Bacon Strip Recipe Contest for a chance to win one free meal a week for a year from The Bacon Strip and a $100 Visa gift card.

The Bacon Strip is looking for a customer-inspired bacon dish to add to their menu and they are willing to pay for it.

Submit your crazy and creative bacon recipes in The Bacon Strip Recipe Contest for your chance to win a $100 Visa gift card and one free meal a week for a year from The Bacon Strip.

Submission for The Bacon Strip Recipe Contest is open through Sept. 7 and you can enter one recipe per day while the submission period is open. To enter, you will need to enter your email, date of birth, zip code, gender and phone number. There will be 8 recipes selected, then there will several rounds of voting to determine the winner.

  • The first round of voting will be Sept. 15 to Sept. 28
  • Round two of voting will be Sept. 29 to Oct. 12
  • The final round of voting will be Oct. 15 to Oct. 22

Voting in all rounds will be done by going into The Bacon Strip and ordering the dish you want to vote for. The winner will be contacted by phone on Oct. 23 and announced Oct. 24 in The Elkhart Truth and on ElkhartTruth.com.
