The Heart City USBC has named its first Bowlers of the Month for the 2013-2014 season.

Aubrey Jannings and Terry Wininger earned the honors for September with their efforts in the Signature Scratch League. Both secured qualifying bids into the 5th Annual Heart City Masters Invitational Tournament at Country Club Lanes April 26, 2014.

Jannings' 780 series on games of 279-279-222 topped the ladies and has propelled her to a 236 average over the first seven weeks of competition in the Scratch league.

Wininger's personal high was built on 279-290-299. The 868 series equaled the Signature Lanes house record previously set by Scott Tapley. Wininger's average sits at 235 having bowled six of the seven league sessions to date in the Scratch league.

Others topping 800 for the men during the opening month were Ron Everingham (837), Scott Tapley (826), Bill Juday (815) (801), Kevin Kelley (814) and Rick Jannings (805). Ladies over 700 were Chelsea Farrell (767) and Christel Hughey (707).
