April showers bring May flowers! It’s a perfect time for spring to have finally arrived, as we’ll be celebrating National Public Garden Day and Mother’s Day at the Gardens this weekend.

If you haven’t visited Wellfield Botanic Gardens yet this spring, this is definitely the time to visit. There are literally thousands of tulips in peak bloom right now — with colors popping out of every corner of our garden spaces, especially our annual garden.

Did you know there are more than 3,000 types of tulips? They are divided into 15 groups, with names such as Parrot, Rembrandt and Triumph. Visit Wellfield Botanic Gardens this weekend to see how many types of tulips you can find on display in our Annual Garden.

In celebration of National Public Garden Day, we are offering a free admission coupon. You must bring a physical copy of the coupon to be redeemed at out Visitors Cottage. The offer is only good through this weekend.

We hope to see you in the gardens.
