Kansas Bible Company featured on Billboard, plans to release third album in 2015

The 12-piece rock band got its start in 2008, when several of its members were studying at Goshen College.

A 12-piece rock band that got its start at Goshen College was featured on music publication Billboard’s website this week.

Kansas Bible Company told Billboard the band plans to release its third studio album in early 2015. The band previously released “Ad Astra Per Aspera” in 2011 and “Hotel Chicamauga” in 2012.

Kansas Bible Company is now based in Nashville, Tenn. The band also performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in June in Manchester, Tenn., joining a roster of prolific musicians including Elton John, rapper Kanye West and rocker Jack White.

The band got started in 2008, when several of its members attended Goshen College.
