Little Frank & the Premiers at Fridays by the Fountain

When: 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014.

Where: Jon R. Hunt Plaza at the Morris Performing Arts Center on 211 N. Michigan Street in South Bend.

Roots band Little Frank & the Premiers will play a free show at the Jon R. Hunt Plaza in South Bend, paying tribute to a variety of music genres such as blues and surf.

 

The Journey of the Universe at Cinema Night

When: 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014.

Where: Unity Church of Peace at 905 E. Colfax Ave. in South Bend.

The Unity Church of Peace will have a free screening of The Journey of the Universe. Rev. Emerita Barbara Jung and Rev. Sandie Vanik will lead a discussion after the movie. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Granger Farmers Market

When: 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Where: 12650 S.R. 23 in Granger.

The Granger Farmers Market features food producers and arts and craft vendors. Their website states the organizers value minimally processed ingredients, artisanal methods, local and GMO-free produce and nutrient-dense foods and beverages.

 

Goshen City Church Block Party

When: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Where: Goshen City Church of the Brethren at 2013 N. 5th St. in Goshen.

The Goshen City Church Block Party at the Goshen City Church of the Brethren will feature snacks, sno-cones, crafts, a water slide, bouncy castle and other activities.

 

Patriotic Pops Community Concert

When: 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Where: First Presbyterian Church of South Bend at 333 W. Colfax Ave. in South Bend.

The Patriotic Pops Community Concert at the First Presbyterian Church of South Bend will feature a presentation by Boy Scout Troop 122, a musical performance by the Twin Cities Concert Band and other activities.
