An Elkhart County woman will star in this week’s episode of “It Takes a Church,” a new Christian dating program featured on the Game Show Network.

Nicole Blue thought a small camera crew would be following her to church one Sunday in February for a show about Christian singles, according to a report from the Goshen News.

Blue was surprised to learn that the congregation of Grace Community Church would be helping her choose from eight suitors as part of a dating show.

Christian singer Natalie Grant, who hosts the show, led the congregation in song before the show began.

Members of the congregation, family and friends introduced their choices for Blue, and the bachelors told her why she should date them.

The congregation then took a vote, selecting three suitors to continue on and spend time with Blue. Lead Pastor Jim Brown picked a fourth contestant.

After spending a little time with each candidate, Blue made her first cut. The next day, she met the other three contestants for an activity and eliminated another suitor.

She went on dates with the final two contestants before making her final decision.

Blue’s episode will air at 9 p.m. Thursday, June 12 on the Game Show Network.
