Goshen stores will celebrate World Fair Trade Day FOUND

GOSHEN -- World Fair Trade Day is Saturday, May 10.

To celebrate, Ten Thousand Villages and FOUND are hosting an event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal is to bring awareness to fair trade, which means farmers and workers are fairly rewarded for their goods and services, according to Fair Trade USA

La República, a local band, will play and there also will be an open participation drum circle and other activities, according to a press release from Ten Thousand Villages.

Refreshments will be provided, including items from Elkhart's Soup of Success. Door prizes will be awarded every hour. 

Ten Thousand Villages is at 206 S. Main St.
