Many in Elkhart and surrounding areas came out to see Premier Arts' presentation of "Les Miserables" at The Lerner Theater, which opened Friday, May 2.
Directors had high hopes for the show after more than 200 people auditioned to be a part of it. The musical, set in 19th century France, used about 80 actors and actresses to tell the classic story on stage.
"We have had had very close to a full house both nights and (Sunday) is starting out almost full," Sue Frost-Mayse, director of operations for Premier, said Sunday afternoon.
The final show was at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4.
