ELKHART — One of the biggest stars in country music is playing this fall at the Lerner Theatre in downtown Elkhart.

Tickets to see country artist Clint Black go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 11. The 52-year-old singer will perform Nov. 16.

Black’s 1989 debut album, “Killin’ Time,” yielded four singles that topped the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks charts. That year, the Academy of Country Music honored Black with awards for Album of the Year, Top Male Vocalist, Top New Male Vocalist and Single of the Year for “A Better Man.” His music has also earned honors presented by the American Music Awards and the Country Music Association.

Black has released nine studio albums and four compilations, including 2013’s “When I Said I Do.” Notable chart topping hits include “Nobody’s Home,” “Where Are You Now” and “Like the Rain.”
